Scavo Media began in 2018 when founder Jeremiah Scavo, an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist, saw a gap: businesses needed high-end video production paired with a real marketing strategy behind it, not just content for content's sake. What started as a video-first studio has grown into a full-service digital marketing and video production agency, now serving clients across the country from our home base in Des Moines, Iowa, with a growing presence in Tampa, Florida.

Today, our team brings together experts in video production, Google Ads, web development, HubSpot, and social media management. We work with everyone from local trades businesses to established healthcare and construction brands, building long-term partnerships (some going back six years or more) rather than one-off projects.

What hasn't changed is the storytelling. Every service we offer, from a 30-second ad to a full website build, is grounded in the same instinct that started this agency: know the story, then tell it well.

Jeremiah Scavo is an award-winning video producer and a social media marketer. He started his career in 2005 as a photojournalist at KCCI-8 News, the local CBS affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa. For roughly seven years, he chased news and won numerous awards, including an Emmy®. In 2012 he won the Iowa Broadcast News Association’s best photography award. His time in journalism profoundly impacted the way he hears and helps tell a person’s story. It taught him the importance of empathy in telling a story.
In 2013 he departed from the world of journalism to begin a content marketing career. Jeremiah began traveling for clients all over the United States including international travel to Canada and Europe. He produced video content for some of the largest brands in the industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing fields. This experience added to his perspective on life having had the opportunity to see so much of the world.
